NERCOMP is higher education's premier New England regional conference
focusing on information technology. The conference includes corporate
partners and product exhibits, and it takes place March 19-21, 2000, in Sturbridge, Massachusetts.

New this year, the fourth annual University of Massachusetts
Instructional Technology Conference 2000 will be held on Tuesday, March
21, in conjunction with the NERCOMP conference.  ITC 2000 will feature
more than 100 UMass faculty, staff, and students demonstrating uses of
technology to enhance teaching and learning.  Best of all, participants
can attend both UMass and NERCOMP sessions for the price of a single
conference. The NERCOMP / ITC 2000 conference brings together a national audience to meet in one of New England's most charming locations to discuss the
impact of information technology on higher education.  The program

"Evaluating Performance: Strategies for a Technology-Enhanced Learning
Environment"

This workshop explores two issues associated with using technology
enhancements to add value and opportunity to higher education.  The
first issue involves strategies for using technology to help students
employ their personal learning styles and learn to use new ones.  The
second issue involves strategies for evaluating student performance in

"IT Customer Service Skill and Competency Program"
