Hugh Jarvis of U.B. featured the MyUB Portal in a project
briefing at the Fall CNI Task Force meeting. Those of
you who attended and others interested in portal design
are invited to take advantage of a guest account to see
how it looks and works.

Hello: MyUB, the personalized portal to the Web developed for UB students,
now has a guest account to allow interested people to see what a student
would see. I encourage anyone who is interested to try it, and to look at
all the information, including things about the Libraries. If you have any
comments, please feel free to send them to me and I will pass them on to the
MyUB Development Team. For those of you who are new to this, MyUB's goal is
to be the place UB students use as their home page on the Web. For each
individual, it lists courses, important dates, and links to offices and
services on campus. The Libraries have been using MyUB as a vehicle to let
students know about databases, course-related guides, library Web sites, the
workbook, and lots more for about two years. MyUB is now available to all
UB undergraduates.
The informational page and guest login information are located at:
http://www.buffalo.edu/aboutmyub/
Username and password are both student if you'd like to take a look.
Enjoy! Margie Wells, UGL
