Subject: Save the Date -- METS Opening Day UK

Greetings,

As you all probably know, the METS Editorial Board
has been hosting a series of METS Opening Day events
to provide an introduction to the METS standard and
a chance to discuss the technical issues surrounding
METS' implementation. The Board is pleased to
announce that another METS Opening Day has
been scheduled for July 12, 2004, and in recognition of the
growing use of METS outside the United States, this Opening
Day will be held at the St. Pancras Conference Center at the
British Library in London. Program and registration
information will be available shortly. We look forward
to seeing you in London!
