CNI Associate Executive Director Joan Lippincott will co-present the preconference seminar A Planning Process for Successful Learning/Information Commons on October 28, 2008 as part of the EDUCAUSE 2008 Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida (separate registration and payment are required to attend).  PLEASE NOTE that the seminar is for those beginning or about to begin the planning process for a new or upgraded commons; it is not intended for those already well engaged in the planning process.  Attendees will learn about trends and best practices, discuss ideas with peers, and explore applying these practices to planning at their home institutions.  ARL's Crit Stuart and Malcolm Brown from Dartmouth College are co-presenters.  See http://net.educause.edu/e08 for registration information.
