At the fall Forum co-sponsored by ARL and CNI, Reinventing Science =20 Librarianship: Models for the Future, we are planning to have a poster =20= session following the opening segment of the program (October 16, 5-7 =20= pm during a reception). We are soliciting posters for this event and =20= encourage you to participate in highlighting projects from your =20 institution. The scope is broad and includes areas such as data =20 services, planning efforts to address the challenges of e-science, =20 projects to support specific scientific communities, staff education =20 programs, or new organizational models for science librarianship. While it would be a =93plus=94 to have knowledgeable individuals on hand = =20 to respond to questions about the posters, we would expect that the =20 posters could provide sufficient information to =93stand alone=94 (with =20= relevant contact information for further details) and there is no =20 requirement to staff the session. If you are interested in submitting a poster for this session, please =20= send a brief description of your project/model/initiative to Julia =20 Blixrud (jblix@arl.org ) for review by September 8. Organizers will =20 review and be in contact to arrange for logistics. The ARL/CNI Fall Forum will bring together leadership from the =20 research libraries community as well as campus IT. The Forum=92s focus =20= is on the changing arena of science and engineering research and the =20 library=92s role in engaging and supporting the community=92s needs. = The =20 agenda will cover issues such as data management/curation, supporting =20= virtual organizations, and education in support of these new library =20 roles.
