Dear Colleagues,
"ETD2009: Bridging the Knowledge Divide," the 12th international
symposium on electronic theses and dissertations, was held June 10-13
at the University of Pittsburgh. The ETD2009 Conference was organized
by the Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations and co-
sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh and West Virginia University.
Conference organizers received over 200 researchers, librarians,
graduate school administrators and information technology
professionals from 23 nations who participated in the conference to
share their knowledge about digital library collections, learn about
latest trends and standards or to gain insight into how to establish
ETD programs at their institutions.
An illustrated conference summary is now available to help you retrace
the steps of the ETD2009 journey. Conference highlights reconstituted
from the Blog and other sources are presented in chronological order.
Hyperlinks will take you to online resources, conference papers and
presentation slides, etc. Video is forthcoming for all plenary
sessions. An index to online resources about this conference is
available at the end of the report. For more information, view the
ETD2009 Conference Summary or visit http://www.ndltd.org/Members/john/ETD2009
