Subject: Sun Preservation and Archiving Special Interest Group (PASIG) Meeting

I wanted to share the announcement for the upcoming SUN PASIG meeting that will be taking place in San Francisco October 7-9, immediately following the iPres conference. I've participated in  several of these meetings, and they are in my experience quite unique: they deal with serious large scale digital preservation and archiving issues from a very pragmatic, systems engineering-oriented perspective. I'd urge CNI-announce readers interested in these topics to at least take a look at the agenda (which is at ) to get a sense of the meeting. I'll be giving a short talk on Friday, October 9 (not yet on the agenda, as just very recently confirmed).
