On February 16, I had the opportunity to participate in a very 
helpful conference on personal digital archives which included some 
discussion of  their implications for cultural memory organizations. 
There is a very good detailed report on the meeting, along with some 
of the presentations, and other materials (video of the meeting will 
be added soon, I understand). The meeting web site is at:

I'll be running a break-out session at the Spring CNI meeting to try 
to summarize and further develop some of the ideas coming out of this 
meeting. My thanks to Jeff Ubois, who has done the community a great 
service by pulling this meeting together.
