The meeting will be held April 2-3, 2012 in Baltimore, MD. The opening plenary talk, The Future of the American Research University, will be presented by James Duderstadt, University of Michigan President Emeritus & chair of the US National Academies committee that authored the report Preparing for the Revolution: Information Technology and the Future of the Research University. Phillip D. Long, professor and director of the Centre for Educational, Innovation & Technology at the University of Queensland, Australia, will present the closing plenary.
