We have just posted a report on the Executive Roundtable that was held at the fall CNI meeting on Dec. 10, 2012. The topic was Institutional Strategies & Platforms for Scholarly Publishing. Teams representing senior level library and IT organizations from 13 institutions described their experiences, concerns, strategies, and future plans related to this dynamic and evolving landscape. The report summarizes the discussion and includes strategies on library-faculty partnerships, concerns beyond the hosting and editorial processes, e-journal and digital monograph initiatives, and relationships between institutional publishing units and commercial entities.
