I am delighted to invite you to the Jisc and CNI Conference 2016: International advances in digital scholarship, 5-6 July at Wadham College, Oxford. The conference will bring together leading experts from the UK, US and Europe to explore the current critical issues and innovations in digital scholarship, facilitating an international exchange on leading practice and policy. We are pleased to announce that Professor Sir Nigel Shadbolt, Principle of Jesus College and Professorial research fellow in Computer Science at the University of Oxford, will give the opening keynote. The event will open with a welcome reception at the Bodleian Library, Oxford from 19:00 on 5 July until 17:30 on 6 July. The conference will provide a platform for leading international developments to be shared and discussed, addressing themes of: · Sustainability of open access · Tracking research and research metrics · Analytics · Researcher incentives · Managing active research.
