The dates have been set for the 2017 Dodging the Memory Hole
conference, the fifth in a series of excellent conferences (I have been
fortunate to be able to attend several) dealing with the critical issue
of how we can preserve our news media in the digital age. It is now
open both for registration and for session proposals. See
