New videos are available from CNI’s spring 2018 membership meeting:

In Leaving the Teenage Years Behind: Internet Identity Comes of Age, Ken Klingenstein of Internet2 discusses the development of Internet identity, now a full generation in, and he explores current issues, including two-step authentication, responding to GDPR and PSD2 requirements, building effective controls for attribute release and privacy management, federated incident handling, and increasing the basic baselines of trust within the community.
The PresQT (Preservation Quality Tool) project aims to enhance reproducibility and more open sharing of research data through open source development of tools and services to improve preservation and re-use of research data & software. PRESQT: Assessing Researcher and Library Needs for Research Data & Software Preservation, presented by a team from the University of Notre Dame, includes information gathered during the past year’s PRESQT workshops and needs assessment survey to address the project’s goals.
