On July 2, 2018, Jisc (UK) and CNI held a meeting in Oxford, England, continuing a tradition of co-sponsoring a joint meeting every other year. The theme of the meetings was The Changing Role for Libraries in the Context of the Research University, and included keynotes by Susan Gibbons, Yale University; Dan Cohen, Northeastern University; Roly Keating, British Library; Richard Ovenden, University of Oxford; and Adam Tickell, University of Sussex. Breakout session topics included The Changing World of Scholarship, Data: Changing the Ways Libraries Work, International Collaboration and Cooperation, Supporting Modern Research Across the Institution, Innovations in Scholarly Communication, and New Roles in Teaching and Learning.
You’ll find a very rich set of presentations there and I encourage you to take a look!
