Several new videos from CNI’s April meeting have been added to our channels:

Holistic Approaches to Research Data Management: Scholars as Collectors
Oya Y. Rieger, Danielle Cooper (Ithaka S+R)
Explores recent research demonstrating that scholars tend to amass complex, varied information collections, and that they need support in managing these collections. Doing so could lend itself to strategic possibilities.

Of Data, Ethics, and Leadership: Building a National Roadmap for Web Privacy and Web Analytics
Scott W. H. Young, Sara Mannheimer, Jason Clark (Montana State University)
Reports on the activities and findings from the National Forum on Web Privacy and Web Analytics, an IMLS-funded project that brought together librarians, technologists, and privacy researchers to address library values and practices related to web analytics.

Data Science Support for Social Science Research
Christina Maimone (Northwestern University), Alex Storer (Stanford University)
By providing centralized staff trained both in research and data skills to support social science research, universities can increase research efficiency and enable researchers to undertake impactful projects that may otherwise be infeasible.
