The  report touches on but doesn't delve deeply into important issues around access to data on social media platforms, stewardship of social media, reproducibility and data sharing and related issues. Nonetheless, it establishes space for badly-needed conversations among policy makers and regulators, researchers, and the preservation and stewardship communities.
