Two important planning documents of interest to the CNI community have recently been issued by European groups.

The German Research Foundation (DFG) has made publicly available a new strategy paper on ICT (information and communications technology) funding strategies for the research and higher education communities. The paper is now available in English:

In the Netherlands, SURF has issued a strategy for the collaborative application of ICT.  The strategic plan is available in English at:
