The new 1999-2000 CNI program plan, which was distributed at the Fall Task Force meeting in Phoenix in December, is online at the CNI web site. Representatives of member institutions who need print copies can contact me.
The spring task force meeting is coming up -- March 27 and 28 in Washington DC, in conjunction with Net 00 and the Internet 2 spring meeting. Details on this will begin coming out soon via CNI-announce and our web site.
Also, I was very pleased to read over the holidays that the late Paul Peters, CNI's founding director, had made the list of the 100 most influential people in 20th century librarianship in the American Libraries listing of December 1999. This is a great recognition of Paul's contributions.
Best wishes for the new year.
Clifford Lynch
Executive Director, CNI
